a big deal

i have just received an email, or more appropriately "the email, from peoplesupport regarding my application. i have not opened it. i cant open it.

does it contain good news or bad news? im expecting bad news of course, now that i have already gotten over it and am able to smile again. but seeing that one message in my inbox poked just a lil teenie tiny wee bit of hope inside me. can this be true? were maiden and the rest right after all?

coincidentally, i watched the 2nd to the last episode of survivor vanuatu, and the situation there reflected mine. there were five of them and the lone male chris was in the middle. it was his vote that would determine who would go home that night, and when tribal council came, someone had a gaping mouth of shock. and another with a wide happy grin.

the peoplesupport tribe has spoken. have i been voted off or not?
