hickory dickory dick

years ago, i was into collecting comic books more than anything. i had spider-man, x-men, superman, and some unknowns like suicide squad. i remember having just one issue of frank miller's sin city (one with the badass-looking tough guy and a stripper with mesh stockings) and after seeing the latest trailer of the movie by robert rodriguez (with quentin tarantino as guest director! yipee!) i really wish id never sold/lost any of my comics. the movie sure looks damn fine, staying true to the comic book's feel. that and jessica alba as the stripper character are the two reasons why this flick is a must-watch.

anyways, i suddenly recalled one of those college jokes (ateneo-la salle-up) about the brand of watch the students wear in each school. not exactly sure about the brands, but ateneo's was guess, and la salle's was benetton. so what was up's watch brand? punchline: channel 9. i remembered this because while channel-surfing, i noticed that channel 9's lower left digital clock looked new. maybe just a new font...
